A Botanical Tours and Waikoloa Wildlife Self-Guided Tour Booklet provides self-guided tours around the 62-acre property highlighting Hawaii's unique flora and fauna. The booklet describes hundreds of plants, where they are located along each walking tour, and their historical and modern-day uses. Since ancient times many of these plants have held spiritual significance, and many of the traditional beliefs still exist today. The Botanical Tours and Waikoloa Wildlife booklet enables families to learn about the importance of these beautiful plants for food, medicine, building materials, adornment and spiritual celebrations. During tours, in addition to the abundance of diverse plant life, visitors may encounter wildlife as well. Hilton Waikoloa Village is home to numerous species of birds and marine life. The booklet describes the species as well as where visitors may encounter them throughout the resort. Potential sightings include flamingos and nene, Hawaii's state bird, or red footed tortoises can often be spotted.
Wildlife and Chinese Zodiac Tour
Guests can also opt to take the complimentary Wildlife and Chinese Zodiac tour of Hilton Waikoloa Village, offered Tuesdays and Saturdays at 10 a.m.
Self-Guided Art Tour
