This annual parade returns for its 59th year, with the parade theme “Our community… Our Kuleana at Christmas and always.” Everyone is welcome to attend and admire the lighted vehicles passing through Waimea town.

Hawaii’s top chefs unite for this annual Christmas gala that showcases delicious treats and a festive gingerbread display. Pair with a handcrafted ale, choice of wine, or local Kona coffee. The event also features live music and a silent auction.
Jingle Bell Beach Run

Coconut Grove Marketplace, 7:30 am – 10 am
The annual 5k beach run returns to Kona this holiday season for its 15th year. Open to people of all fitness levels, this family-friendly event is a great addition to your Christmas calendar. Added bonuses include a raffle and awards for the top finishers plus the three best dressed Christmas costumes. There’s also a non-competitive Santa’s Keiki Dash for kids 6 and under.
Christmas Dinner at Waikoloa Village

Indulge in a traditional Christmas Day buffet dinner, prepared by our talented culinary team. This annual resort tradition features live music, Christmas candy for kids, and photos with Santa. Tickets are $89 for adults (includes one drink ticket) and $39 for children (includes soft drink or juice).
Wailea Village Mochi Pounding

Akiko’s Buddhist B&B, 8 am – 2 pm
This popular event has captured the attention of the community and the public over the years. Returning for its 22nd year, join locals and visitors in making Mochi (traditional rice cakes) the old-fashioned way. As well as mochi pounding, enjoy Hawaiian entertainment, new years crafts, food vendors, and fortune-telling.
New Year’s Eve Dinner and Party at Waikoloa Village

Kick-off 2020 in style with our New Year’s Eve celebration. The evening will begin with specialty dinner stations accompanied with live Hawaiian music. At 9:30 pm, the dance floor is yours as our DJ plays a mix of new hits and old favorites. As the countdown to midnight begins, enjoy a champagne toast and balloon drop as we bring in the new year. Tickets start from $149 for adults, $109 for teens, and $69 for children. Upgraded seating and golden tickets are also available.
